GSM 8 Gang Multi Plug Extension

This extension lead has a powerful smart GSM microphone fitted inside. The extension lead looks normal in every way and importantly all 8 sockets are working sockets that will power any device you plug in.

The microphone is super sensitive and will hear sounds clearly up to about 15 metre radius. Any time you need to listen just dial the number of the SIM and within a few seconds you will be connected. In addition you can send an SMS to the unit to adjust microphone sensitivity to low, medium, and high. Another advantage is that you can set the unit to voice command mode. In this mode when the unit hears a sound for more than 10 seconds it will send you a text message and immediately call your number. When you answer your phone, you can then decide to carry on listening or end the call. You can also configure, by simple SMS command, and add up to 3 recipients who will be alerted if there's any sounds thanks to the voice command feature.

The device operates on GSM 900/1800/1900 Mhz for worldwide coverage. Supplied complete with PAYG SIM already fitted and needs no batteries as the GSM device is mains powered.

Please note, for normal listening mode you do not need any credit on the SIM however if you use the voice command feature then the SIM will need to be topped up with credit to allow it to send SMS and calls.

All units are supplied with Virgin Mobile SIM Card and this is the network that we suggest, use of any other network will affect the results or the way the unit works.

Although GSM devices have no recording ability, if you do need to record you will need to use a Mobile Telephone Recording Lead used in conjunction with one of our Digital Voice Recorder units.
