The GSM Centaur is perfect for environments without access to mains power. The in-built GSM module with motion sensor and temperature sensor can help protect any place against intruders. There are numerous possible applications such as holiday homes, a boat, protection of high value assets in storage or valuable property located in remote locations where immediate alert notification is essential.

The self-contained unit is simple to program and can be deployed without installation. It offers either silent activation or a loud alarm in the event that the motion sensor is triggered by intruders. On activation the GSM Centaur sends out an SMS messages to two pre-programmed numbers and then follows this up by calling the same numbers to alert the recipients of an activation.The device is not just an intruder alarm, but also offers activation in relation to adverse temperature variation in the area in which it has been placed. This can ensure protection against frost danger or overheating.

The Lithium batteries have an extremely long deployment life, giving up to a year stand-alone deployment and this with the unit transmitting a daily status report that gives peace of mind knowing that the unit is still active. When the batteries need replacement a notification SMS will be sent. In addition, many of the features can be altered to suit and the GSM Centaur will accept any SIM card.
