This Miniature Magnetic Logger is a small, pocket-sized device that receives signals from the twenty-four satellites orbiting the earth.  The internal GPS chipset accurately determines the location of the device within 2.5 meters and then records this data onto the internal memory card every second. The Miniature Magnetic Logger is powered by just 2 AAA batteries giving up to two weeks life (using Lithium type batteries). It can be placed inside, outside and even underneath the vehicle because a small, but strong magnet mount allows for instant external deployment.  The Miniature Magnetic Logger is also water resistant, so you don't have to worry about ingress of the elements

The recorded data can only be offloaded by connecting the GPS Logger to a Windows-based computer via the USB port. Using the data collected in conjunction with the included tracking software, it is possible to accurately determine where the tracker travelled, at what speeds, where it stopped and for how long.  The recorded data is displayed on the computer through Google Earth (free to download)

Is This Product For Me?: If you are not worried about ‘there and then’ live tracking capability, then this device has to be for you. If you need a compact GPS tracking solution with no contract or GSM charges for short to medium term deployment then this product is ideal. You do have to supply your own batteries - standard ‘AAA’ alkaline batteries will power the unit for about 48 hours

Please Note: The software for this unit is supported by Windows based PCs and Laptops. The software, and by extension the unit, is not MAC compatible
