Wireless Camera Scanner

The Wireless Camera Scanner is an excellent counter surveillance or camera installers tool that is designed to detect wireless cameras across a frequency range from 900 mHz up to 2700 mHz.

This device should be in the toolbox of every counter surveillance professional who is looking to complete a scan of an area for transmitting RF cameras that operate on frequencies between 900 and 2700 mHz. In ‘quick scan’ mode the system will continually scan through the specified range. hunting for transmitting cameras in the vicinity Once locked on to a wireless camera or audio device the image being viewed by the camera will appear on the 2.4" LCD screen and the speaker will output the received audio.

A smaller LCD screen will show the relevant frequency, strength of signal, modes, etc. and a ‘locked on’ signal can also be indicated by vibration and buzzer alerts if these have been selected. The unit has a standard AV out port and supplied with the relevant video output cable for connecting to a larger external display.

The unit is powered by an internal rechargable battery giving approximately 2.5 hours of use on a full charge, although the unit can if required be powered from the supplied mains power/charging lead. The two detachable antennas are designed for optimum scanning in the 1.2 gHz and 2.4 gHz ranges and a belt holster is also supplied to help protect the unit when on-the-move.
