Simple and effective, there is no software to download, no complicated set up and in fact no need for a computer whatsoever. Make a request for a real-time location from the tracker using your mobile phone and receive coordinates, speed, direction, battery power remaining, etc. On most smart phones you will also receive a WAP link which when clicked will direct your mobile phone to a map that clearly shows the tracker’s ‘real time’ location.

Other features are easily controlled by coded SMS messages from your mobile phone. The unit has an optional shock sensor that can be switched on / off by SMS message and a ‘real tracking’ setting will allow the user to remotely set the unit to report in at regular intervals. All of these features can affect the battery life of the device, but provide true versatility.

The GPS Trojan is cleverly designed, solidly constructed, with an IP56 enclosure rating, this device can be used on the underside of a vehicle, in luggage or as an asset tracker. There is no need to cary a laptop around to check on the location of the tracker, simply send it an SMS message or call it and receive the location information back almost immediately; however, the coordinates that are returned from the location request can also be entered into Google maps on a computer if this suits your purpose.

Many customers shy away from using certain tracking systems because they are technically challenged. Have no fear, this unit is so simple to use, that even a child could get it working in next to no time. Other than inserting a SIM card and charging before use there is really not much to getting this fantastic little unit working for you.

Please Note: Your mobile phone handset must be able to access the Internet to be able to open the WAP link map. Frequency of use, battery condition, temperature, placement of the unit can all have effect upon actual battery life. As such it should be noted that remaining battery level displayed on received location requests should be the main guide to remaining battery life. Credit is required on the SIM of the tracker to enable it to respond to commands and send back GPS locations.
