Black Box Camera / DVR

This self-contained covert camera with recording system is built into a specially designed smooth black plastic enclosure. The camera is not visible to the naked eye, but instead is hidden behind one side of the smoked black plastic.

The recording system utilises micro SD memory cards and as standard offers motion activation or scheduled recording options. The unit has an in-built rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that will power the unit for 7 + hours of continuous recording, albeit on motion activation, the battery will last longer all dependant upon amount of activation within view of camera lens.

The system can be operated manually or controlled using the supplied remote control. The cleverly designed camera system allows for one end of the enclosure to be removed to reveal the SD card slot, manual controls and LED indicators that show the operational state of recording system. The LED indicators can actually be switched off after the unit has been set recording using the remote control, thereby ensuring that the unit is able to operate with complete discretion.

This versatile ‘black box’ unit can be used as an ornament or trophy plinth or can be disguised in other ways to fit into a variety of environments. With real time video and audio recordings at a resolution of 720 x 480, intelligent motion detection and time and date stamping of recorded video footage, the device can produce excellent results.

Please Note: 2 hours of recorded video footage takes up approximately 1GB of memory card space, so 32GB will hold around 64 hours of actual recorded video
