This Car Key Camera System conceals a tiny pinhole spy camera in one end of the key and an internal flash drive recording system that has a memory capacity of approximately 4GB. The fold-out dummy key hides the controls for the unit and also the mini USB port that allows recorded footage to be offloaded onto a PC.

Video imagery is recorded in VGA format at a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels in ‘real time’ and audio is recorded at the same time. The unit also offers still image capture (1280 x 960) and all imagery has time/date stamping. In addition to this the unit has the option of voice activation, which means that video recording can, if required, be started in response to sound in the vicinity of the device
