Spy Video Phone

This ‘classic’ style mobile phone can be used as an everyday mobile phone. This particular unit has the ability to take twin SIM cards, which gives the user a choice of mobile network on one handset. However, the the really clever feature on this handset, is the covert video / audio recording capability.

On standard mobile phones the camera is in the back of the phone. This doesn’t lend itself to making covert video recordings, because the phone has to be held in a position that ensures that it is obvious what is taking place. In this device the camera is positioned in the top end of the phone, which means that the phone can be held in the hand or easily positioned on the flat surface such as a table, pointing towards the surveillance subject. On top of this there are no external USB sockets and anything else for that matter that would give any indication that the device is anything other than a standard mobile phone.

Video recordings (with audio) are stored onto an internal micro SD card system. The cameras view can also be seen on the screen of the mobile phone and this feature ensures that the user has the subject matter in view. In addition, the recordings can also be viewed on the mobile screen in playback mode, although of course the micro SD card could also be removed from the phone for playback through a computer.

The phone has a decent lithium Ion battery that is able to provide the capacity to record for up to 4 hours and although time and date is not stamped on the video recording itself, each video file is given the relevant time and date signature.
