We really only have to look back just over five years to see that the spy equipment world was a different place. The advance of technology often proves to be a mind-boggling one to many individuals, but when it comes to the world of spy gadgets, have the the last five years actually provided us with simpler and easy-to-use spy devices that have a broader appeal? I would argue that in fact this was the case in many aspects. If we look at the type of spy equipment that is now on offer it is plain to see that there are now a whole plethora of spy gadgets that the average person in the street can use with very little instruction. Spy pens with self-contained digital recording systems for both video and audio are common-place, self contained tracking devices with a simple on/off button, very simple plug and play listening equipment that now uses mobile phone technology means that operation of such technology is not at all an alien concept to the majority.

I would take a guess that all-in-one spy gadgets now feature as the majority of the equipment on offer, however, as newer ground-breaking technology emerges, there will always be certain specialist equipment that requires expert knowledge to operate. So, has spy gadget technology been made simpler? The technology itself is actually more sophisticated, but the latest product designs ensure that they can be used by almost anybody.
