This updated version sacrifices smoke detection electronics to accommodate a massive rechargeable battery. The internal smoke alarm recorder system delivers up to 166 days (over 5.5 months) of voice-activated standby deployment or up to 160 hours of continuous audio recording.

Because the internal system operates on sound activation, battery consumption is optimized dynamically. If deployed in a room with a few hours of audio activity daily, the smoke alarm recorder can operate for several consecutive weeks before requiring a recharge.

Audio is logged automatically whenever ambient room noise triggers the microphone. Once surrounding sound ceases for over one minute, this audio recorder saves the file and returns to low-power standby mode.

Versatile Deployment with Spare Working Unit
