This magnetic USB connection cable is originally supplied with a number of our audio recording devices, used to connect the the recorder to a computer for transfer/playback of recorded files or for charging of the device battery.
Replacement Connection/Charge Cable
Many of our audio recording products are supplied with a USB to magnetic 4-pole connection cable to enable the charging of the internal battery of the product and also to offload/playback recorded audio files onto a PC or Mac computer. This Magnetic Audio Cable is an original part replacement cable in the event that the supplied cable is lost or maybe malfunction due to accidental damage or after an extended period of time through general wear and tear use.
Products Using the Cable
Here is a list (subject to change) that use the Magnetic Audio Cable: Second Generation versions of Spy Calculator Recorder (Voice Activated), Cuddly Toy Voice Activated Recorder, Smoke Alarm Recorder (Voice Activated), Mains Socket Voice Recorder. Can this cable be used on all audio recording products?
No, we also sell some devices with a 3.5mm charge/offload cable. The list of compatible products for the magnetic cable is found in the product description.
Can I use this cable for any of the camera products?
Currently our camera products have a different type of connector at the camera end which is not of the magnetic type.
