Mains Socket Voice Recorder

Wall socket power outlets are found in virtually every room, making them the perfect everyday fixture in which to integrate a hidden recording device without attracting attention.

Hand-assembled in the UK by our expert team, the mains socket voice recorder delivers a long-term audio monitoring solution for home or office environments.

Disguised as a standard UK double gang socket faceplate, its hidden surveillance system operates independently of the mains power supply.

Standard Double Wall Outlet & Full Mains Functionality

Although this unit looks like any common double wall outlet, it conceals a high-grade sound recording system within the wall cavity.

The recording circuitry is powered by an independent internal lithium battery, preserving full electrical operation so both 3-pin mains sockets power appliances normally.

Because the unit requires flush mounting on a wall surface, there are zero external indicators on the front or side edges that indicate anything unusual.

The pin-operated power switch and magnetic USB charging port are hidden on the bottom lip facing the floor, staying completely out of sight once installed.

Voice-Activated VOX Mode & 10-Metre Pickup Radius

To ensure maximum power and memory efficiency, the mains socket voice recorder operates exclusively in Voice-Activated System (VOX) mode.

The sensitive internal microphone picks up clear, natural room speech across a 10-metre (33-foot) radius in quiet environments.

The system automatically initiates recording when ambient sound is detected and safely pauses when silence returns.

Powered by an internal rechargeable lithium battery, the device provides up to 75 days of standby time or up to 76 hours of continuous active audio capture.

8 GB Memory Storage & Evidential Time/Date Stamping

Equipped with 8 GB of internal flash memory, the wall double plug voice recorder stores up to 288 hours of audio in high-clarity MP3 format.

Every recorded audio file is watermarked with an accurate time and date stamp for evidential tracking and clear cataloguing.

Reviewing files is straightforward: attach the magnetic connection lead to the hidden bottom port and connect to a laptop or computer via USB.

The unit is recognised as a standard mass storage drive, allowing seamless playback on Windows PCs or Mac computers using default software like VLC Media Player.

Provided you deploy your equipment for lawful purposes, situations that suit using a voice recording device cover a wide range of asset protection, elder care safeguarding, and corporate compliance needs.

Will the normal power sockets still work on the mains socket voice recorder?

Yes. The mains power functionality is completely preserved so appliances operate normally. The recording system inside operates independently from an internal rechargeable battery.

How long will the mains socket voice recorder stay powered?

The internal battery provides up to 75 days of voice-activated standby time while waiting for sound. When actively capturing audio, it delivers up to 76 hours of continuous recording.

Is the mains socket voice recorder silent during operation?

Yes. The device is completely digital with zero mechanical relays, clicks, or indicator lights that could draw unwanted attention while active.

Do the recorded files include a time and date stamp?

Yes, every separate audio file created by the unit is embedded with an evidential time and date stamp for accurate chronological tracking.

How do I turn the recording system on and off?

The power switch is accessed via a tiny pinhole on the bottom lip of the socket faceplate. Inserting the supplied pin tool toggles the recorder system on or off.

Will my recorded files be lost if the battery runs out completely?

No. The device features auto-preservation protocols that save all active files to the onboard flash memory before the battery fully depletes.

How do I retrieve audio files from the mains socket voice recorder?

Connect the supplied magnetic cable to the port on the underside of the faceplate and plug the other end into a PC or laptop. The internal drive opens like a standard USB flash drive.

Can the recording system draw power directly from the 240V mains wiring?

No. To ensure absolute safety and isolation from electrical noise or power spikes, the surveillance circuit runs strictly off its own internal rechargeable battery.
