Voice-Activated Recording with Instant Alerts

This class-leading listening device offers two flexible recording modes. You can set it to record continuously or activate only when sound is detected. For voice-activated recording, simply choose a recording length from 1, 5, 10, or 30 minutes. The WiFi Pen will automatically begin recording for your chosen duration whenever it detects sound above the preset level.

You’ll receive instant phone notifications when sound is detected, giving you the chance to listen in live. This alert feature can easily be disabled in the app if you prefer. Best of all, all recordings can be remotely accessed and downloaded directly to your phone wirelessly.

Continuous Record or Power Saving Options

The Wi-Fi listening Pen offers two distinct power-saving modes to optimize battery life based on your needs:

• Mode A (Standard Use): This mode provides full functionality, including the ability to listen in live at any time, receive instant sound alerts, and automatically record. With 2-3 sound activations per day, the battery will last for up to 5 days.
• Mode B (Extended Standby): Designed for maximum battery life, this mode will still send sound alerts and automatically record, but live listening is only available for one minute after an alert. This mode offers an extended battery life of up to 9 days, based on 2-3 sound activations per day.

Is the Wi-Fi Pen comfortable and easy to write with while taking notes in a meeting?

You can absolutely take notes, but you should prepare the pen in advance. The pen tip is revealed by twisting the end of the pen, which might be a bit slower than a regular click pen if you need to quickly jot something down.

How well does the pen’s microphone pick up sound when it’s clipped to a shirt or jacket pocket?

Yes, the pen is designed with two microphones positioned specifically to pick up sound effectively when clipped in a pocket.

Will the WiFi pen stay connected if I move between areas that have different Wi-Fi networks?

The pen can only connect to one Wi-Fi network at a time. It does not automatically switch. To connect to a different network, you’ll have to repeat the full setup procedure, and your phone must also be connected to that new network first.

If I turn the pen off and then back on within the same Wi-Fi network’s range, will it automatically reconnect?

Yes, the pen will automatically reconnect to the same network when you turn it back on. However, if you leave the Wi-Fi area without turning the pen off, it will eventually shut down on its own. In that case, you would need to manually switch it back on when you return to the network.

Does the WiFi Listening Pen use the same mobile app as your other Wi-Fi Listen and Record products?

Yes, the Wi-Fi Pen Recorder uses the same application as our other Wi-Fi Listen and Record products, so you can conveniently manage multiple devices from a single app. And you can run numerous devices side by side from the one account login.
