Spy Pen Voice Activated Recorder

This powerful, premium-quality spy pen voice recorder is built into a stylish, aluminium-bodied black-and-chrome ballpoint pen that looks completely natural on any office desk or boardroom table.

Combining functional writing capability with advanced digital surveillance technology, it allows business professionals, journalists, and private individuals to capture crucial audio evidence in plain sight.

Listening devices do not get any more accessible or discreet than an everyday writing instrument.

Discreet Clip Activation & Daily Scheduled Recording

What sets this spy pen recorder apart is its exceptionally subtle sliding clip activation mechanism.

Sliding the pen clip down silently starts voice-activated recording, while sliding the clip back up stops and saves your audio file.

This simple, intuitive action allows you to initiate or end recording in plain view without attracting scrutiny.

Additionally, this upgraded model features a daily scheduled recording setting, allowing you to program the pen to record automatically at a specific time for a set duration.

Configured using the supplied USB control module on a Windows PC, scheduled recording is ideal for capturing planned events when you cannot be physically present.

20-Hour Battery Runtime & 9-Metre Pickup Radius

The internal rechargeable lithium-polymer battery powers the spy pen for up to 20 hours of continuous voice-activated deployment on a single charge.

Recharging takes just 1 hour via the concealed 2.5mm micro port situated beneath the top cap, ensuring minimal downtime between uses.

The high-sensitivity internal microphone picks up clear, natural speech across a 9-metre radius in quiet room environments.

Using the PC software utility, you can adjust the Voice-Operated System (VOS) sensitivity threshold to prevent background noise triggers in busy spaces.

144-Hour Memory Storage & Flexible Playback Options

Equipped with 4 GB of internal flash memory, the audio recording pen stores up to 144 hours of high-quality (HQ) MP3 audio files.

Files save as 5-hour continuous segments to prevent file corruption and streamline organisation.

Every recorded file is watermarked with an evidential time and date stamp for legal verification.

Reviewing files is hassle-free: connect the pen to a Windows PC or Mac using the supplied USB cable, or attach the included earphones directly to the pen via the inline USB remote controller.

Can the spy pen voice recorder make recordings while connected to a charger?

No. The recording pen is engineered exclusively for standalone operation powered by its internal rechargeable lithium battery. Plugging the unit into a USB charge port automatically pauses active recording.

Is the spy pen voice recorder completely silent in operation?

Yes. This spy voice pen operates 100% digitally with no mechanical relays, clickers, or buzzers. It remains completely silent during activation and recording, with zero audible clicks or alerts.

Will the spy pen voice recorder still record if hidden inside a jacket pocket or bag?

Yes. The sensitive microphone picks up surrounding room speech effectively even when clipped inside a shirt pocket, jacket lining, or open handbag. However, placing the pen inside thick padded boxes or deep drawers will reduce pickup range.

How do I listen to recordings captured on the spy pen voice recorder?

You can listen back directly by plugging the supplied inline remote controller and earphones into the pen’s top socket. Alternatively, connect the pen to a Windows PC or Mac using the USB cable to play MP3 files through computer speakers.

Does the spy pen voice recorder make any sound or flash lights when the battery runs out?

No sounds or lights are emitted at any point during operation or when the battery depletes. The pen automatically saves active audio files to internal flash memory before shutting down completely.

Do I need special software to transfer audio files onto a computer?

No. The pen functions as a standard plug-and-play USB mass storage drive. You can drag and drop audio files directly to your computer desktop without installing dedicated transfer software.

Can I replace the ink cartridge in the spy pen voice recorder when it runs out?

Yes. The pen uses standard biro refill cartridges, and 2 additional replacement ink cartridges are supplied with your purchase so you can continue using it as an everyday writing pen.

How does the scheduled recording feature work on the spy pen voice recorder?

By connecting the pen to a Windows PC, you can configure the internal clock and set a daily recording window (for example, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM). The pen will automatically wake up, record room audio for that timeframe, save the file, and return to standby mode.

Consider the Following when Using this Voice Recorder Pen:

• Configuring the time/date stamp, scheduled recording window, and VOS sensitivity menu requires access to a computer running Microsoft Windows OS.
• Recorded files are not password-protected on the internal flash drive, though file retrieval requires the specialized 2.5mm USB adapter cable.
• Reviewing recorded audio files on a computer requires a PC or Mac equipped with internal or external speakers and a standard USB port.
• Playback requires standard media player software installed on your computer; we recommend downloading free, universal media player software such as VLC Media Player.
• While the internal battery provides up to 20 hours of recording time, the pen cannot record while actively connected to a USB wall charger or computer port.

• Fully functional ballpoint pen with a smooth retractable nib for normal daily writing.
