Field Spy - Outdoor/Game Camera

The new more powerful Field Spy outdoor camera is a superb video/still camera with SD Card recording system that is all self-contained in a compact camouflaged weatherproof case.

With higher image/video resolution than we have been able to offer before together with increased storage capacity and longer battery life, the Field Spy really is a superb stand-alone outdoor camera/recording solution. This type of outdoor system is often known by many names and can be used for many applications. Commonly called game camera, scouting camera, wildlife camera or trail camera, the outdoor solution features infrared that enables deployment at night in locations where there is little or no ambient light available.

The unit operates on motion detection and has three built-in motion sensors that will even detect movement outside the camera field of view thereby ensuring the system is already running when the moving subject comes into view. The device is powered using 4 AA batteries that will provide a running time up to 3 months and in addition there are 4 more battery slots that, if used, will increase the deployment time up to 6 months.

Now an upgrade to the system selected from the drop-down menu is the option to have 'Black' infrared LED's for totally covert night-time deployment. These LED's emit an infrared glow at a frequency that is below the spectrum that can be seen by human eyes. The result is that there is no visible glow from the unit, yet it is still able to capture video/photographic evidence in complete darkness.

With still image capability of 12 megapixel quality, video imagery at 640 x 480, time/date stamped footage, time-lapse feature and SD Card recording system capable of taking up to a 16GB SD card, the Field Spy really is the perfect outdoor or countryside camera system.

And now we have just released the all new SMS version of the camera unit! This upgrade means that you will be able to receive notification by SMS message to your mobile phone in response to movement within trigger range of the camera unit. Please Note: As a guide a 2GB SD card will store approximately 1 hour of recorded video footage. To playback footage on a laptop or PC requires an SD card reading system. Many modern PC’s have this facility as standard.
