All captured sound events are catalogued in chronological order across the 8 GB internal flash memory, storing up to 288 hours of audio in High-Quality mode. The system can log up to 9,999 individual audio files for fast event tracking.

If the battery depletes during deployment, the internal system auto-saves the active file before shutting down safely. Because the internal cavity houses the recording system, standard TV remote button functionality is disabled.

Is the voice recorder silent and discreet in operation?

Yes. The internal voice recorder is completely digital with no moving parts, clicking sounds, or audible alerts that could draw attention while active.

Are there any lights or LEDs that indicate the device is recording?

No. Although the internal circuit board features a small setup LED, this is completely hidden inside the casing and no external lights show during operation.

Do the recorded files feature a time and date stamp?

Yes. Every time the voice-activated system triggers a new audio file, a precise time and date reference is embedded directly into the file name.

Will the recorder still capture sound if it is hidden from view?

While the remote control is designed to sit openly in plain sight, it will still capture ambient sound if concealed inside a drawer or under cover. However, burying the unit may reduce microphone range.

How do I play back the recordings from the device?

Connect the unit to a Mac or Windows PC using the supplied magnetic USB cable to listen via your default media player. You can also play back files on a compatible smartphone using an OTG USB adapter cable (not included).

Can the voice activation feature be switched to continuous recording?

No. The internal system is permanently wired for sound-activated recording to maximize standby battery life and storage efficiency. There is no continuous recording override.

Does the voice recorder capture one continuous file or multiple shorter files?

The recorder generates a new file each time sound triggers the microphone, automatically saving and closing that file once the surrounding environment remains silent for roughly one minute.

Can the remote control still be programmed to operate a TV or DVD player?

No. Standard remote control functionality has been completely disabled to make room for the internal recording components and battery system, converting it into a dedicated covert enclosure.
