This voice-activated recorder has a very sensitive microphone that can pick up normal-level speech up to a radius of 10 metres (30ft) away. ‘Voice activated’ recording as standard ensures that efficient use is made of the battery and of the memory space – only recorded when there is sound in the environment where the Air Freshener Recorder has been placed.

Is the device silent and discreet in operation?

Yes, the device is digital and there are no moving parts or sound alerts that would alert attention in any way.

Does the air freshener still make the room smell nice?

Although the material at the front of the air freshener is impregnated with a nice scent, the unit does not odourise the environment in the normal way that a freshener unit would.

Are there any lights that would indicate that the device is recording?

When the device is switched into record mode a discreet LED illuminates for a couple of seconds, but then goes out and then there is no indication that recording is taking place. This LED can only be seen when the air freshener back has been removed to expose internal recorder workings.

Do the recordings have a time and date stamp?
