This bug gives you the power to listen remotely from anywhere or record high-quality audio automatically or on demand. Deployment is effortless – just a single switch powers it on. Smartphone Control – No Connection Charges

Unlike many other listening and recording devices that depend on mobile networks and costly SIM card subscriptions for remote monitoring. This listening bug with an integrated voice recorder utilises existing local WiFi. This allows for seamless live streaming and remote control without incurring any ongoing expenses. Voice Activated Recording – Alert Notifications

This advanced listening bug offers flexible recording modes: you can set it to record continuously or activate only when sound is detected. For voice-activated recording, simply choose from 1, 5, 10, or 30-minute intervals per activation. This means the device springs to life and records for your chosen duration whenever it detects sound above a set level.

You’ll also receive instant phone notifications when sound is detected, giving you the chance to listen in real-time. This alert feature can easily be turned off in the app if you prefer. Plus, all recordings can be downloaded remotely to your phone via its wireless connection. The aforementioned app is also capable of:

• Control activation sensitivity and format
• Switch notifications on and off
• Delete recordings from the listening device’s memory

Despite our Listening Bug & Recorder having a greater number of more advanced features, the device certainly does not compromise on quality. The listening device provides an exceptionally high quality, crisp audio recording, alongside ‘live stream’ listening. What’s more, it has an excellent microphone pickup radius which can reach up to eight metres in a quieter environment.

When it comes to the WiFi listening bug’s power saving modes, mode A will allow the user to listen in at any time, receive alerts and auto voice record when sound is detected. This mode has a maximum battery life of 28 days, based on two to three activations per day. Power saving mode B is slightly more restricted, as it only allows live listening within a minute of a sound alert notification, but will give up to 40 hours standby/use based on two to three activations per day

Is this WiFi audio bug silent and discreet in operation?

Absolutely. This digital product has no moving parts, ensuring completely silent operation. As a specialized surveillance device, it’s designed without any sound alerts that could draw attention.

Are there any lights that would indicate that the recording device is recording?

No. The device features a discreet blue LED that only illuminates briefly when it’s switched on, off, or put into settings mode. It remains dark during recording or live monitoring.

Do the recordings have a time and date reference?

Yes, they do. This listening and recording device automatically stamps each recorded file with a precise time and date, so you’ll always know exactly when an event occurred.

How well will the device still pickup sound if it is hidden away from view?

When simply hidden from view in a quiet room, the device can easily achieve an 8-meter listening radius. If placed inside a drawer or bag, the coverage will be reduced, depending on how heavily concealed it is.

Can this device be powered from a permanent Mains supply?

Yes. The device can be permanently connected to a mains outlet using the supplied USB charge lead. Alternatively, you can connect it to an external battery pack to extend deployment time in locations without a mains supply.
